Jameson Distillery

Constructed in 1790 this was one of the largest and finest distilleries in the world. It is now a whiskey museum, where one can follow the path of water, barley and yeast through all seven stages of whiskey brewing from malting to maturation to view the finished product, a smooth golden spirit. A complementary glass of Jameson is then provided at the end of the tour as well as selected volunteers receiving a tutored whiskey tasting.
